About Us
The Primary Instructor to all courses is Jonathan Murray. Jonathan is a Providence Firefighter who was/is assigned to Rescue 4, Rescue 5 and Engine 15. An EMT-Cardiac, he is an ALS provider, also with an ACLS certification. He is certified by the American Red Cross to teach and certify participants in Lifeguarding, EMR, ALS, BLS, CPRO, First Aid/CPR/AED, Wilderness and Remote First Aid, as well as Babysitting. All of the certifications received through these courses are Red Cross-certified.
Why is there a deposit?
1. If there wasn't, there would be a hundreds of people signing up, and about 30 of them actually showing up. Ultimately causing an unacceptable delay in communication.
2. Red Cross fees are charged whether someone passes or not.
3. That's it. There is no #3.
Why is there a Credit Card fee?
As much as we prefer you pay with a card, it does come at a cost of 3%. That is what it costs the business to accept a credit card payment. Nothing more and nothing less. If you do not want to pay an extra 3% please bring exact cash payment. You are completely welcome to do so!
